International touring exhibition: Contemporary Norwegian Architecture 2000–2005

2007–2010

The exhibition spanned a wide range: From the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the University Centre at Svalbard to a bridge in Svinesund, which connects Norway to Europe. The 50 buildings presented, were selected by a jury as the best examples of Norwegian architecture from the period 20002005.

These exhibitions are the most comprehensive patters we have in Norwegian contemporary architecture and the exhibition catalogues produced in a cooperation with the architectural magazine Byggekunst, have become important sources of documentation of Norwegian architecture from 1975 to the present. After being put on show in at The National Museum in autumn 2006, an English version of the exhibition toured around the world between 2007–2010 in collaboration with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
