The Norwegian Museum of Architecture
The exhibition presented 41 innovative European architecture projects, including 2 projects by the winner Zaha Hadid, who also received the 2004 Pritzker Prize, the so-called” Nobel Prize in Architecture “.
The nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award were proposed by a group of 9 experts from across Europe and the winner was named among 259 proposals received. Through plans, photographs and 25 models, the architectural diversity in Europe was presented, including the Norwegian project Mortensrud Church. Video films complemented the exhibition material, together with interviews and information about the projects.
The international touring exhibition was produced by The Mies van der Rohe Fondation, Barcelona, and supported by European Commision´s Culture Program 2000.
