Speaker: “A Room of One´s Own. The Paper Project Virginia Series by Beate Hølmebakk”. Lecture, part of the festival “Women in Architecture”, at the Nordic Embassies, Berlin, 25 June 2021.

Speaker: “Norwegian Architecture: Identity, Influence and Character.” Workshop, NCE Tourism Fjord Norway, Bergen, 19 March, 2019.

Project Manager at The National Museum and Jury´s Secretary:  A.C. Houens Fund’s Certificate for Outstanding Architecture. The award is considered one of Norway’s most prestigious awards in the fields of architecture and construction. It was presented 29 August 2019 in a collaboration between The National Museum, Norwegian Ministry of Culture and the Norwegian Architects’ Association.

Project Manager, initiator and organizer: Selected films from the “Living Architecture” series by Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine. To coincide with the exhibition Home Viewing, the museum  showed  screenings of  the films The Infinite Happiness / Selling Dreams / Moriyama-San by Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine. Bêka and Lemoine are artists, filmmakers, producers and publishers. Their work is focused on experimenting with new narrative and cinematographic forms in relation to contemporary architecture. Organizer: “House Viewing from a Danish Perspective: Copenhagen.” Architect Elena Rojas / Tegnestuen Vandkunsten and architectural historian Peder Duelund Mortensen lectured about housing alternatives seen from a Danish perspective: Copenhagen. The lecture was organized in conjunction with the exhibition  House Viewing.  The National Museum – Architecture, 18 October 2018.

Organizer: “House Viewing from a Norwegian Perspective: Alternative Norwegian Housing Projects.” Reinhard Kropf from Helen & Hard Architects lectured about alternatives to today’s commercial building industry. The lecture was organized in conjunction with the exhibition  House Viewing. The National Museum – Architecture, 1 November 2018.

Organizer: “Does it really make a difference?” Line Ramstad from the aid organization Gyaw Gyaw and Helena Sandman from Hollmén Reuter Sandman Architects shared their experiences and projects in Thailand, India, Senegal and Tanzania. The National Museum – Architecture, 22 June 2017.

Speaker: “Norwegian Architecture: Identity, Influence and Character.” The lecture was part of a seminar at The National Museum involving participants from the Norwegian Tourist Industry. 29 November, 2017.

Speaker: “Building a New National Museum at Vestbanen, Oslo.” The lecture was part of the program at the seminar «Museum Exhibitions in Historical Interiors» at Villa Rothmayer, City of Prague Museum, Czech Republik, 23 June, 2017.

Organizer: “A place to live.” Three sustainable co-housing projects in Stavanger, Oslo and Trondheim. Presentations by  Helen & Hard Architects, Eriksen Skajaa Arkitekter and Nøysom Arkitekter. The National Museum – Architecture, 7 September 2017.

Organizer: “Can architecture contribute to a future development for communities threatened by depopulation?” Presentation and talk by Todd Saunders and Svein Harald Holmen, Vardø Restored. Moderator: Markus Richter. National Museum – Architecture, 26 October 2017.

Speaker: “Contemporary Norwegian Architecture.” The lecture was part of an educational program for aspirants at Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at  The National Museum – Architecture, 4 August, 2015.

Organizer of the Symposium: “Zoom in – Architecture and Comic Strips” with contributions from the award-winning cartoonists Joost Swarte and Matthias Gnehm. The symposium was organized in conjunction with the exhibition Architecture in Comic-Strip Form. Moderator: Mélanie van der Hoorn. The National Museum – Architecture, 22 October 2015.

Organizer:  The Norwegian cartoon “Krüger og Krogh: The recreation of Oslo anno 1964.” The lecture was organized in conjunction with the exhibition Architecture in Comic-Strip Form. The National Museum – Architecture, 26 November 2015.

Organizer and Moderator of the Mini-seminar: “1/9/81/SPEEDLECTURES.” Eight young Norwegian architecture firms presented their work in 9 minutes. The mini-seminar was organized in conjunction with the exhibition Under 40. Young Norwegian Architecture 2013 through a cooperation between The National Museum and Oslo Association of Architects. The National Museum – Architecture, 3 May 2013.

Organizer: Architectural walk / lecture: “Urban ecology and green niches in the harbor of Oslo” lead by botanist Anders Often from the Norwegian Institute of Natural Research, and Iwan Thomson from the architect firm Lala Tøyen. The walk was organized in conjunction with the exhibition Under 40. Young Norwegian Architecture 2013, 1 September 2013.

Organizer and Moderator of the Seminar: “Architecture and Social Responsibility.” How architecture can help to solve coming challenges in food production, healthcare, energy, time management, uses of space and land, economics and social structure. The seminar was organized in conjunction with the exhibition Architecture of Consequence. Dutch and Norwegian designs on the future through a cooperation between The National Museum and The Dutch Embassy in Oslo. Lectures by: Ole Bouman, Helen & Hard Architects, Van Bergen Kolpa Architecten, ZUS, Rietveld Landscape, 2012 Architecten and Chief Design Officer of Philips Lightning, Rogier van der Heide. Speaker: “Contemporary Curating and Museum Education within the field of Architecture. From Concept to Exhibit.” The guest lecture was part of the program at the University of South-Eastern Norway, 7 September, 2012.

Organizer: Lecture and Book Release: “Yes is More” by  Bjarke Ingels, BIG. The lecture was organized  in conjunction with the exhibition YES IS MORE. The National Museum – Architecture, 11 March 2010.

Organizer: Workshop: A three-day workshop with the renowned German theatre designer Jan Pappelbaum, teaching students from Oslo School of Architecture and Design and Østfold University College.  The workshop was organized in conjunction with the exhibition Jan Pappelbaum. Stages through a cooperation between The National Museum, The Oslo School of Architecture and Design in Oslo and Østfold University College, 4 November 2009.

Speaker: “Residential Architecture in former East-Germany.” The lecture was part of a seminar linked to the festival «Film in former East-Germany».Cinemateket, Oslo, February 2008.
